The Nebraska Muslim Cemetery (NeMC) is a sub organization of Nebraska Muslim Services (NMS). NeMC is an independent non-profit Islamic organization whose mission is to provide cemetery services for the Muslim community of the state of Nebraska. NeMC will maintain, and operate a cemetery for the Muslim community. The burial procedures will be based on Ahl-Alsunna derived from the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The NeMC commits to provide services to the Muslim community in the state, through its governing board which is a consortium of Masjid boards which will be same as the NMS board. The board oversees the overall operations, sets procedures and monitors the performance of the organization. 

The commitment of NMS/NeMC is to offer the highest quality of services based on building strong relationship between the organization and the deceased family.

Responsibility of the board will be to develop appropriate and adequate means to serve and support the interest of Muslims, such as burial ground, funeral services, cemetery maintenance, body-washing facility, etc.
